Biography

Florian Mai is a postdoctoral researcher at KU Leuven. Florian joined the Computer Science department in 2023, where he is working under the ERC funded CALCULUS project, supervised by Professor Marie-Francine Moens. Previously he received his PhD from EPFL, where he worked at the Idiap Research Institute under the supervision of James Henderson. His PhD focuses on text representation learning for low cost natural language understanding.
